ZOE BOTTING, Calgary Personal Injury Lawyer

Zoe joined Cuming & Gillespie LLP as an Associate in 2025, following the completion of her articles at a personal injury firm and working as an associate at a Calgary insurance defence law firm. Working as Defence Counsel, she has a useful insight into Defence Counsel strategies and an understanding of the insurance industry.

At prior firms, Zoe was involved in personal injury, insurance defence, and dental malpractice matters. Zoe skillfully negotiated claims to resolution and efficiently advocated for her clients. She strives to provide effective and tactful advocacy for her clients, while aiming to obtain the best outcome.

Zoe obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary in 2021. During law school, Zoe volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada and assisted teaching elementary students about the Canadian legal system.

Prior to law school, Zoe obtained concurrent undergraduate degrees in economics and visual studies, demonstrating strengths in creativity and analytics. She also spent time volunteering with the Cochrane RCMP and assisting with front desk operations and file management.

Outside the office, Zoe enjoys competing in horse showjumping and walking her dog. She is currently developing skills to become an avid golfer.
